How to shop resale:
-Long gone are the days of hiding when shopping resale or being embarrassed for consigning! This is recycling at it's best! We have fun in our store - we hope you will too!
- Allow yourself ample time to shop. Resellers have a vast selection, much more than a "new" store could afford to stock, so you'll want time to look through all the choices to find your prizes!
-Shop often for the best selection. Resale shops change inventories daily, and the smartest shoppers know to check out their favorite shops weekly. Don't miss out on the new arrivals!
-Check out all sizes, not just the sizes you usually wear. Different manufacturers cut their apparel differently, and some clothes may have been altered. Oh yes ... TRY THEM ON. Many shops don't have a return or exchange policy.
-Ask about various payment options. Cash is always welcome, but checks and credit cards are also accepted at most stores. Many stores offer some type of layaway.
-Be flexible. Don't limit yourself by looking for a specific item or you may miss a great find. When you see something that calls out to you, BUY IT!! chances are it won't be there next time you visit. ( I have seen this happen personally 9 times out of 10 in my own shop!!!)
-Complete your purchase with the proper accessories. Most shops have a line of new jewelry items (some specifically hand crafted) and other accessories as well as consigned items.
-Explore all resale shops in your area to find out which shops suit you best. Each shop has a personality of its own, so you're certain to find several favorites.
